Position Summary
Cardiac Care North York (CCNY) is expanding its specialized outpatient services with the launch of our new Nuclear Cardiology clinical program. We are seeking a dedicated, skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, sonographers, and clinic staff.

In this role, you will perform high-quality nuclear cardiology imaging, manage radioisotope workflows, and help shape protocols for a modern, rapid-access outpatient cardiac facility dedicated to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Hours & Schedule: Daytime clinic hours (Monday-Friday, daytime shifts; no overnight call or standard weekend hospital rotations).

Duties & Responsibilities
– Perform nuclear cardiology imaging procedures (including myocardial perfusion imaging/stress testing protocols) in compliance with CNSC regulations, HARP legislation, and clinic standard operating procedures.
– Administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform quality control tests on imaging equipment and dose calibrators, and maintain precise hot lab documentation.
– Coordinate daily patient schedules in collaboration with cardiologists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow.
– Provide compassionate, clear patient care, explaining procedures, addressing patient questions, and monitoring safety throughout imaging.
– Participate in clinic quality assurance initiatives, radiation safety compliance, and protocol optimization.

Qualifications
– Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in Nuclear Medicine (new graduates with upcoming exam eligibility are encouraged to apply).
– Certification/membership with CAMRT preferred.
– Valid Basic Life Support (BLS / BCLS / CPR) certification.
– Direct experience in nuclear cardiology or outpatient diagnostic imaging is an asset.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
– Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting while collaborating effectively with an interprofessional healthcare team.
