About the Course
The Transfusion Science Micro Credential (TSMC110) is a 12-week online course with three mandatory onsite sessions held at The Michener Institute, over three weekends. It will consist of weekly synchronous sessions, online content, including the three mandatory weekend onsite sessions for simulated lab experience.
This course is intended for Medical Laboratory Assistants / Technicians who are already working in the Transfusion Science area, have the support of their employers, and would like to achieve a micro credential in Transfusion Science to help advance their knowledge and skills.
Note: Successful completion of the Transfusion Science Micro-Credential for MLA course alone does not qualify an individual to become a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO). We suggest you reach out to CMLTO directly to confirm what is required to become a registered MLT with them.
