Bridging Program Application Process

Step 1:  Complete and sign the Michener Application Form .

Step 2: Prepare your application file. Complete applications should include the following:

  1. Completed Michener Application Form
  2. A non-refundable application fee of $75.00 CAD
  3. Valid letter of assessment.
    • BPML800 applicants should provide a Prior Learning Assessment(PLA) report from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).
    • BPRA800 applicants should provide a Decisions, Order and Reasons of the Registration Committee from the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) which states that you are eligible to take the CAMRT licensing exam
  4. Proof of English language proficiency. Applicants must pass:
    • Michener English Language Assessment (MELA) with a minimum score of eight (8) in all four (4) components (Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading) OR 
    • IELTS (Academic Type) with an overall score of 6.5 with all components (bands) of the test being at a 6 or above OR
    • TOEFL with a minimum score of 100 on the Internet Based Test (iBT) with a minimum score of 22 on the Writing Section.

    English Language Assessments must be completed within the last two year.

  5. Proof of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Refugee status

Step 3: Submit the completed Michener application form and supporting documents directly to the Registrar’s Office or via email to admissions@michener.ca.

Step 4: Any supporting documents not submitted with your application should be sent to admissions@michener.ca by the application deadline.

Step 5: The Registrar’s Office will notify applicants of application status as that information becomes available.
