Bridging Program Withdrawals

To maintain program integrity and to ensure we have the right resources matched to student needs, the Bridging Program department has a strict policy on refunds.

A completed and signed Bridging Withdrawal Form must be submitted to the bridging office for all withdrawals.  Please see the table below for more details:

OBPAP FUNDED STUDENT From Registration to two weeks before the start date* Refund minus $75
OBPAP FUNDED STUDENT After the Start Date* No refund and you may be expected to reimburse the Ministry for the OBPAP funded portion of your course.
FULL-FEE PAYING STUDENT (Non-OBPAP Funded Student) From Registration to two weeks before the start date* Refund minus $75
FULL-FEE PAYING STUDENT After the Start Date* No refund

* Start Date is considered to be the day of online access to the course material (i.e. when Michener sends online login information via e.mail)
If a student logs on to the Blackboard Course and then decides to withdraw from the program there is NO REFUND

PLEASE NOTE: Refunds require a minimum of 3-4 weeks to be processed.  For security reasons, the refund will be applied to the original method of payment. We cannot apply the credit to a different account.
