TTMP Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a skilled and professional registered Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in a Part-time and/or Casual role.

Job Snapshot:

Status: Part-time / Casual
Pay: From $35.00/hr – $41.00/hr (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Primarily weekdays, with some Saturdays depending on site needs
Start date: As soon as possible

Role Overview:

  • Perform cardiovascular technologist duties related specifically to nuclear medicine stress testing
  • Accurately perform and monitor treadmill stress testing in accordance with established protocols and physician direction
  • Perform ECGs and support related pre-test and post-test workflow as required for nuclear medicine stress testing
  • Responsible for inserting various types of intravenous lines and monitoring the IV treatments to watch for complications as required.
  • Ensure patient identification, safety, preparation, and confidentiality are maintained at all times prior to and during testing
  • Recognize, document, and promptly communicate abnormal or urgent findings to the Cardiologist/Physician
  • Produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive reports for physician review
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following established protocols, documenting findings, and reporting abnormalities promptly
  • Maintain equipment and supplies used in cardiovascular testing, including routine cleaning, calibration checks, and reporting deficiencies or issues
  • Follow clinic policies, emergency procedures, infection prevention and control practices, and health and safety requirements
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Cardiovascular Technologist Diploma
  • Current membership in good standing with the
  • Canadian or Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT or OSCT)
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Previous experience with cardiac stress testing required
  • Experience in nuclear medicine stress testing preferred
  • Proficiency in ECG performance and interpretation
  • Ability to recognize and respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations
  • Strong technical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, physicians, and team members
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality requirements and adherence to PHIPA

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $35/hr – $41 (commensurate with experience)
Health Care Spending Account (HCSA): $1500-$3000
Overtime paid at 2x hourly rate
Paid CSCT/OSCT annual registration and PLI fees
Opportunities and flexible scheduling
Employee referral bonus up to $5000
