About the Course
This boot camp course is designed to support the transition of entry-to-practice level nurses (RNs) into professional practice. Nurses will be provided opportunities to expand their foundational knowledge and nursing practice skills that will support them towards success in working within healthcare settings. Not suitable for RPNs.

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of A&P and pathophysiology to recognize changes in a patient condition
- Perform a focused physical assessment, recognizing normal and abnormal findings
- Demonstrate management of a patient with a change in condition
- Demonstrate effective communication via documentation and with physicians, nurses, unregulated HCP and patients/families
- Synthesize relevant patient information in escalation of patient concerns to physicians and report to nurses
- Demonstrate safe medication practices
