Policy

Admission to Michener
Program Admission and Selection

Program admission requirements vary by program and are identified in Michener publications. At the application closing date, as published in Michener publications, applications are assessed to determine if admission requirements are met and then all qualified applications are ranked. Offers of admission are issued to the top ranked candidate within the program’s admission quota.

International Admission

Year One international targets are reviewed annually by Michener leadership and are subject to change. International students are required to meet all of Michener’s academic and non-academic standards for performance, including the completion of all credential requirements.

International students’ status is determined at the time of application and the appropriate international tuition schedules are applied for the entire duration of their studies. International students who transition to domestic status (such as Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident) are eligible for domestic fees after semester 2.

Re-admission

Re-admission is not guaranteed and is dependent upon available capacities in the program and clinical education. Academic Chairs will make all readmission decisions.

To be considered  for re-admission, students must submit an application for re-admission by the deadline set out in the deadline set out in the letter from the Academic Chair outlining the terms and conditions of return. All conditions outlined in their letter must be met prior to returning to their program.
