The BioPed Footcare & Orthotics Educational Scholarship is presented to a student who has successfully completed the first year of the Chiropody Therapy Program with consistently high grades and who has demonstrated enthusiasm, leadership skills and team work skills, and who meet or exceeds the following criteria:
- An essay (maximum 500 words) by the applicant describing how their journey into chiropody will shape their practice and the care they provide.
- Submission of a resume.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.2.
- Nomination by a faculty member OR application from student.

*If the Scholarship, Award or Named Bursary indicates “Yes” to “OTSS Funded” and/or “Demonstrated Financial Need”, a Financial Need Assessment form must be submitted with your application.
**Michener established various endowed Awards through generous donor contributions that were matched by the provincial government’s Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS). The income generated from these endowments is used to support Awards for Michener students who are Canadian citizens (or permanent residents or protected persons), who are residents of Ontario (student has lived in Ontario for at least 12 consecutive months up to the beginning of full-time post-secondary study).
