Bursaries are awards allocated on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Financial need is determined based on each of the following factors where applicable; student and parent/partner income, the number of dependents in the family, and the applicant’s assets, including savings.

To be eligible for a bursary, applicants must:

  1. Be a student in good academic standing
  2. Enrolled in a full-time program
  3. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
  4. Have accumulated government student financial debt
  5. Have exhausted all OSAP opportunities/eligibility
  6. Complete ALL sections of the Bursary Application Form
