Criteria 1: Alumni Association member in good standing (current Michener faculty, staff or Board excluded). The recipient is to write an article for the Alumni News, a publication for alumni and friends and have their name promoted in all print and electronic publications.

Criteria 2: Completed a course of study at post-secondary level with course description and final mark (could include individual course or full program). Note: Short seminars/conferences not eligible.

Criteria 3: Demonstrated leadership and is a positive role model.

Minimum GPA: N/A

Type of Application: Application and reference. Must not have received Professional Development funding from another source.

Application Requirements: A one-page letter (250 to 500 words) outlining why he/she is eligible for this scholarship based on the criteria.

Nomination/Reference Requirements: Two confidential letters of reference on official letterhead from an academic, leadership or community resource.
