Established in 1997, this award is presented to an Advanced Diploma student in their graduating year who has contributed to student life, demonstrated leadership and set an example as a team player in the lab and classroom. The recipient is nominated by faculty.

Minimum GPA: “B” (no supp)

Nomination/Reference Requirements: To Nominate, a Faculty or Staff member submits a one page nomination letter outlining how the student meets the criteria. The letter is supported by a Clinical Coordinator or Preceptor.

**Michener established various endowed Awards through generous donor contributions that were matched by the provincial government’s Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS). The income generated from these endowments is used to support Awards for Michener students who are Canadian citizens (or permanent residents or protected persons), who are residents of Ontario (student has lived in Ontario for at least 12 consecutive months up to the beginning of full-time post-secondary study).
