Program Chair

Megan Brittain Megan Brittain is the Academic Chair for Michener’s Chiropody Program. She has worked with Michener as a Faculty member for over 10 years prior to her current leadership role. Megan is a Registered Chiropodist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Science in Wound Healing and continues to practice in the community.

Program Chair

Hasina Jaffer Hasina Jaffer is the Academic Chair of Critical Care Programs & Graduate Imaging (Anesthesia Assistant, Cardiovascular Perfusion, Respiratory Therapy & Ultrasound). Hasina’s primary role involves leading the advancement of program and course delivery strategies while simultaneously supporting faculty in the development of their curriculum, teaching commitments, and professional development. In addition to Hasina’s role in day-to-day departmental operations and program development at Michener, she continues to practice frontline as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Southlake Regional Health Centre in a Critical Care environment. Hasina holds a BSc in Kinesiology, an Advanced Diploma in Respiratory Therapy, and a Master of Science in Community Health with a specialization in Health Professions Teacher Education. She is committed to delivering high-quality educational programs and providing a valuable learning experience to our students, all while ensuring to have some fun along the way!

Program Chair

Rosetta Belcastro Rosetta Belcastro graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor’s degree in biology and physical anthropology and focused on harnessing her skills in Human Resources and Industrial processes. She obtained her Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management through Woodsworth College at the University of Toronto. Shortly thereafter Rosetta completed her Masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management at the University of Toronto. In 2022 Rosetta graduated with a Master of Laws, Labor Relations, and Employment Law from Osgoode Hall, Law School. Rosetta has been working within the public sector for over 2 decades. During this time, she has co-authored over 39 manuscripts published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Rosetta has been a key member of the Laboratory Medicine Program (LMP) leadership team at UHN where she was the Senior Manager, Clinical Operations, Administrative and Research Services, for the Anatomical Pathology Department, prior to joining Michener. In this role, she has overseen all aspects of day-to-day administrative and operational functions within the pathology department including autopsy, surgical pathology, histopathology, immunopathology, cytology, and electron microscopy, leading, and supporting a diverse team of over 150 people. In June 2023, Rosetta joined the team at Michener as the Academic Chair for the Laboratory Sciences Program.

Aimee Hindle Aimee Hindle is the Academic Chair of the Digital Health and Data Analytics program, Foundations of Healthcare and MRI (1st Discipline). Aimee is an experienced and dedicated 22-year healthcare professional and a proud Michener Graduate, in Respiratory Therapy. She has been in health care education leadership for over a decade. She has a Masters degree in Public Health and has worked in a variety of health and education roles.

Program Chair

Catherine Ladhani Catherine Ladhani is the Academic Chair of the joint Radiation Therapy Program, the MRI program, and the Digital Health and Data Analytics program. She is a proud Michener Alumni, with many years of clinical experience in combination with various departmental leadership roles. Catherine is currently volunteering as a surveyor for Accreditation Canada.
